I bought this cue as an upgrade to my break cue and so I could have a cue to learn to jump with. With a good weight of 19 oz and well ballenced, right off the bat this cue gave(and still gives) a solid clean break, even the higher skill levels on my 8ball team where calling it the "Bad A** Break Cue" and is looking at purchaseing one for himself. With the little knowledge I know about jumping, and considering I've only jumped with house cues and my old break cue, I doo have to say once set up as a jump cue this cue gives a very nice hop to the cue ball with excellent control. It seams like getting the right tool for the job helps. I highly recommend this cue to anyone who wants to upgrade their break cue or add jumping to their collection of shots.

The zebra wood on the cue is beautiful. I enjoy this break jump cue alot. My jumping game as improved in two days practicing with this stick. The power it delivers to the cue ball is amazing. I only have to use about 40% power when playing on my 8x4 table at the house to get a nice spread. Then at the pool hall on a 9x4.5 i chalk up and let her rip.

Update: After using this for a few months, I've remained very happy with the cue. I don't hit breaks as fast as many players, so I'm not as hard on this cue as some may be, and thus can't comment as well on this cue's durability. That being said, I haven't noticed any warping, the phenolic tip hasn't shown any signs of premature wear, and the cue plays the same as it did when I bought it. The cue has a predictable and repeatable heavy hit, which is what I'm looking for in a break cue. Based on all of that, I'm sticking with my original 4 stars, and would still recommend this cue to anyone looking for a reasonably priced heavy breaker.

Was skeptical of the phenalic tip. However it produces a great break every time. Much better then heavy cues because you can create more velocity. Have recommended to all players in my APA nine ball and eight ball leagues.

I am very satisfied with the quality of this Jump and break cue. The construction, balance, and appearance are all very good. I bought two and would recommend to a friend.
