As a semi-pro level player, I'm always interested in trying new equipment. I really didn't expect much from a sub $180 cue, but was willing to give it a try- if only to give it a bad review after using it as kindling. However, after playing with a Champion cue for a couple of weeks now, I am really impressed. The hit is firm, the action is true, the faux leather grip feels decent in the hand, and the quality seems to be on par for a cue twice the price. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a decent second cue, and beginners should definitely try one.
